LAST FINAL PUSH for History in the Making JIM LONG FOR SENATE
Updated On: Aug 05, 2010 (23:50:00) Print or Save this ArticlePRINT/SAVE Email Article to FriendEMAIL

We need Poll volunteers on Election Day. We have been approved by the Office of the Chief of Police to work the polls.  You cannot wear any part of the uniform or any other article of clothing that identifies the Department.   We are supporters of JIM LONG for Senate. You will be provided with a Jim Long for Senate T-Shirt to wear at the polls.  It is permissable to wear an SLPOA shirt; however the campaign prefers the Jim Long for Senate shirts be worn.  The SLPOA hall will be open that night to await the results and hopefully celebrate Jim's election to the Missouri Senate

We have the following shifts available and we need many volunteers any middle aged teenager and up volunteers are welcome. All you will be asked to do is hand out literature you can bring a chair, and maybe an umbrella.

6am -12 Noon     This looks long but I have been told it is one of the busiest parts of the day.
(Ideal for Nightwatch or 3-11 folks)

12pm - 4pm    Mid Day (Ideal for Nightwatch of Night Overlay)

4pm- 7pm    Obviously the late crowd arrives here and the polls should be buzzing .
(Any 7-3's, 8-4's, or 9-5'ers or Possibly Nightwatch should work this shift)

Anyone who can volunteer please call Thomas Bottini for Polling location and time. We will try our best to have you work a poll in your neighborhood.

If I do not answer, please leave a message.
Thank You
