Contract Ratification Information

Attention Members:
The Association will hold a ratification vote for the two proposed contracts for the Police Officer bargaining unit (which includes PPO's and Recruits) and the Sergeants bargaining unit on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Association Hall. All employees at those ranks will be allowed to vote on their respective agreements although non-SLPOA members will be required to cast a provisional ballot.
In advance of the ratification votes, informational meetings will be held at the Association Hall starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday September 7, 2017 and 7:30 am on Friday September 8, 2017.
The Association will ask the Department to allow members to vote while on duty as they have in the past.
