Officer Travis Brown of the Ferguson Police Department (former St. Louis County Police Officer) was assaulted last night at a protest in Ferguson. Officer Brown has not woken up since the assault and had brain surgery last night. Unfortunately the assault had not been reported by the press. Chief Troy Doyle is having a press conference at 2:00 pm at the Ferguson Police Department to update the Community on last night’s violence. Police officers from the region are attending the press conference in solidarity with Officer Brown and the Ferguson and St Louis County Police Departments.
